Wieke Gur is an intercultural consultant and coach. As an independent consultant she has been delivering intercultural training and coaching since 2011. Because of her area of expertise in Indonesia and Australia culture, in 2015 she started working with global training companies in the US, Europe and UK facilitating their intercultural program for their global clients from various industries both at large and small scale in the US, Europe, Australia, and Indonesia.
In 2013 she authored an intercultural learning game on Indonesia for the diversophy® series, which is currently available in English and in German. Diversophy® is a learning game that gives you the know-how needed to deal successfully with people of other backgrounds and cultures. Wieke Gur still serves as an Active network contributors for Diversophy until now.
Under Wieke Gur & Associates – which she established in 2018 – Wieke and her team are now more than just an intercultural training and coaching. They have become a specialist in People Skill coaching and training. They have been helping their clients in Cognitive Diversity Diagnostic and Team Dynamic Scan measure, visualise and leverage the gap between intention and impact in their organisation. They help them design their Growth Road Map so they can lead high performance team locally and globally. We help individuals and organisations bring out the best in leaders and their teams on the following topics: Uncommon Sense, Growth Mindset, Psychological safety, Unconscious bias, and Diversity and Inclusion.
Wieke has a degree in marketing. She is a Global DISC master trainer and a certified practitioner in Global DISC, Growth Mindset and Growth Zone. She is also a certified InsightScan practitioner from Fable+Accenture.
Wieke was born in Indonesia and has been living in Australia since 1998. Her passions are people, culture, language, history, art, technology and music.
